Post explains the glory of undiluted devotion of Thaayanaar, i.e arivataayar naayanmar, towards Lord Shiva even amidst dire poverty. When he couldn't afford his regular offerings to the lord, he goes to end his life, only to be saved by Lord shiva and grant him immortal existence in Shiva's abode.

Journey of "undistinguished" women

Blossoms shyly,

peaks with pride n confidence,

ventures on pursuits of happiness,

runs crazily round and round;

to realize she actually went nowhere.

Swims across bouts of emotional surges,

menopausal irritations,

rattles hither and thither,

until she realizes its zero worth.

Finally having no choice,

she dignifiedly settles quietly.

Having nothing to give or take;

she reflects her origin, journey and destination.
