அவ்வப்போது

எழும் அங்கலாய்ப்புகளின் பளுவை,

சூழும் ஏமாற்றங்களின் அயர்வை,

எழுத்தில் துப்பி

செரித்து விழுங்குகிறான் கவிஞன்;

கவிஞன் அல்லாதவனுக்கோ

அதுவும் வாய்ப்பதில்லை.

எல்லைகள்

பலப்பல யுகங்களாக
புரட்டிப் புரட்டிப் பார்க்கிறேன்
எனக்கானதென்று எதுவும்
எனது பெயர் தாங்கி நிற்கவில்லை

என்னுடையது எனும் மாயை
நாளையே இன்னொருவரின்
கரம் சேர்கிறது - இதை
அன்றே கீதையில் கூறியவனும்
அத்தனை பேருக்குமானவன்.

சின்னஞ்சிறிய துகளாகிய நான்,
ஞானமெனும் வேள்வித்தீயில் நுழைந்து
பிரபஞ்சமாக வெளிவந்த பின்னரும்
ஏகமாகவே நிற்கிறேன்.

நான் எனது எனக்கானது
என்று இறுமாந்து நிற்கிறேன்.
நினைத்து நினைத்தது
மெல்ல மலர்கிறேன்; விரிகிறேன்
விரிய விரிய விரிய
இன்னொன்றாகிறேன்.
