 Story of GaNanadha Nayanmar, who encouraged everyone to do religious service to the deity in the temple. He engaged them various activities like making garland for deities, cleaning the premises, lighting lamps. He helped them to chant thirumurai and taught them to perform various devotional services based on their interest and inclination. Nayanmar thus introduced them to the nector of bhakthi and engaged them spiritual service. His service was lauded rewarded by Lord Shiva.
