தன்னை மறந்து இலைகள் 
மென் பண்ணிசைக்க
தன் வசமிழந்த 
செம்மாதுளை மொட்டுகள் 
மேடையேறி  மலர்ந்து
இருமொழிக் கவிதைகள் இயற்றி
கானகமெங்கும் கீதம் மீட்ட
வானகம்வரை பரவும்  ரோஜாவாசம்.
இந்த மொட்டுகளும் கூட
இதோ நாளையே மலர்ந்துவிடும்;
